This is a really software that converts photos to cartoons. Right now you need to download the software, but it looks as if they are going to have a web based version up and going in the near future.

Once you download the software and run it all you need to do is load your photo and it converts it to a cartoon – there are a few settings you can adjust to make it look the way you want. Once its converted you can either print it or save it. This is really a neat piece of software.

This is a really interesting Web application that lets you create a Comic/Photo strip. Simply go to http://www.comeeko.com/ and create an account. It's free to create your account so no worries. The basic idea is that you can upload your own picture (or grab one from Flickr) and create a comic strip complete with speech bubbles and other effects. When you are done creating your comic strip you can save it and send it to whoever you want.
